Researchers from Cornell University have unveiled a novel approach involving AI tools capable of deciphering passwords based on keystrokes. In an intriguing experiment during a Zoom call, the team utilized the same technique to determine a user’s password. By analyzing the sound of the keystrokes, the AI achieved an impressive accuracy rate of 93%. A similar experiment conducted on Skype yielded a success rate of 91.7%.
